Players Per Side: 6 players + 1 Super sub (total 7 players per team)
2. Player Count
Registration: Teams can enroll with maximum 10 player names
Semi-Finals & Finals: A player must have played at least ONE league match to participate in semi-finals or finals
3. BAT Rules
League & Knockout Matches: Players can use both wooden and plastic/fiber bats
Final Match (8v8): Only wooden bats are allowed. Plastic/fiber bats are NOT permitted
4. Over Per Bowler Limit
Maximum Overs: Each bowler can bowl a maximum of 2 overs
5. Wide Ball Rules
Wide ball is NOT counted in the over
1 run penalty to the bowling team
6. NO Ball Rules
General No-ball: Ball not counted, 1 run penalty, and next ball is a free hit
Full Toss Above Waist: Full toss above waist is a no-ball, 1 run penalty
2nd Bouncer: 2nd bouncer over shoulder height (following 1 warning) is a no-ball, 1 run penalty, and next ball is a free hit
Bowling Crease Violation: If the heel of the bowler's front foot lands on or in front of the popping crease, 1 run penalty, and next ball is a free hit
7. Throw Bowling
Not Allowed: Throw bowling is strictly not allowed. Decision will be taken by the umpire
8. Boundaries
Fours: Beyond marked pillars and below horizontal mid-beam
Sixes: Same as fours, except above horizontal mid-beam
Fly Through Shots: Counted as four or six based on 1" impact point
Overthrows: Overthrows to the fence can result in 4's and 6's
9. Fielding Rules
Fielders Behind Stumps: No more than 2 fielders behind the stumps of bowling end
Wicket Keeper: Not mandatory
Catches: Direct catches count. For roof rebounds, ball is in play but NOT a catch
10. LBW Rules
No LBW: There are NO LBW outs in this tournament
No Byes or Leg Byes: Byes and leg byes are not allowed
11. Tie & Super Over
In Case of Tie: A Super Over will be played to determine the winner
12. Wicket Format
Game Duration: The game will be played for 6 wickets
How It Works: All 7 players from the team bat in sequence, one after another
Innings Ends At: The innings closes as soon as 6 players are dismissed (6 wickets down)
Remaining Players: If 6 players are out, any remaining batsmen do not get to bat
Example: If players 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 are out, the innings ends. Player 7 does not get to bat
13. Super Sub Rules
Replacement: The 7th player can be replaced with any of the 6 players at any time without any reason
Batting: Super sub CAN bat. The super sub can open the innings or bat at any position
Fielding Restriction: Super sub CANNOT field. Fielding restriction applies ONLY to the super sub
Bowling: Super sub CAN bowl if they are batting in that match
14. Final Match Rules (8v8 Open Ground)
Venue: Played on 8v8 Open Ground
Players: ALL 7 players from the team will play (no substitution, no Super Sub replacement)
Match Length: 10 overs per innings (not 6 overs)
Bat Restriction: Only wooden bats are allowed. Plastic/fiber bats are NOT permitted
Field Restrictions: NO field restrictions (fielders can be positioned anywhere)
Other Rules: All other rules from league matches continue to apply unless specifically modified above
15. Admin Rules
Arrival Time: All players must report at venue 30 minutes before game start
Late Team Penalty: If the full team doesn't report 10 minutes prior to the official start time, the opposite team will be awarded as winners
Rain Policy: Games will be postponed in case of rain
Umpire Decision: Umpire decisions are final and irrevocable
Match Ball: Matches will be played with hard tennis ball
Dress Code: Players are requested to come in sportswear. Spiked shoes are NOT allowed inside the playing area
Courtesy: All players are expected to be courteous to each other and with the officials
Arguments with Umpire: Arguments with umpire will lead to player/team disqualification. This will be strictly followed
Profanity & Alcohol: Profanity, consumption of alcohol, and drunken team members are strictly NOT allowed
Prizes & Awards
Winner: ₹16,000 + Trophy
Runner-up: ₹8,000 + Trophy
Note: Cash prizes mentioned above are applicable if 12 or more teams register for the tournament. If fewer teams participate, prize amounts will be adjusted accordingly.
